In the beginning, in 2001 Ornah Mental was a solo-trip by Dirk Schlömer. Album by Album new influences came with new members. After a band-based phase 2008-2012 Dirk returned to a studio -oriented production- method.

I've always been on the fence about Elder. The musicianship was always there but it never clicked. Omens and Innate Passage have certainly changed that.
